Pet Atrocity

Two mentally retarded women were strapped with deadly explosives. Al Qaida agents blew both of them up using a remote control device while they were visiting a pet market in Baghdad. Over 99 people were killed and well over a hundred wounded. Apparently there were two separate detonations.

One was in a pet market bazaar, the other in a nearby pigeon market. Dead animals lay among the human flesh while officials were hosing down the site. This was the second attack in months on the pet market.

Vendors had a vast array of birds ranging from rare pigeons to Brazilian and African parrots, cats, rabbits and other pets. Traders set up roadside stalls. Shoppers and onlookers were treated to the sight and tranquility surrounding a variety of pets. Naturally it is quite an attraction.

Apparently these women had downs syndrome and blended in with the shoppers when they were detonated.
